You will have seen many Hubble sourced images here on Caedes of the various aspects of Orion but this certainly has to be one of the most impressive - a full deepfield view taken by Rob Gendler. this is a four frame mosaic, hydrogen alpha color composite with a combined exposure time of 50 Hours. you can visit Robert's site for many more great examples of his astrophotography talents and many thanks to him for the permission to share this image with you.

Wow, this is incredible Phil. Did you have to do any post editing? As usual, this goes right to the space folder as well as the favorites folder. Once again, thanks for all you do to bring the outside inside to all of us ;=)
