A parting shot from Discovery as it left the International Space Station to return home after nearly ten days construction work. The station is now fully powered thanks to its new solar arrays that will allow for the final phase of construction and expansion

you've come a long way baby! because of its solar arrays, the ISS is now clearly visible to the naked eye in the night sky - check out the NASA site to see when you can see it where you live.

Another great clean-up job Phil and one for our Nick's 'space folder'....he does call you by name..he asks to see "Phils' space stuff"...he is very rapt in his attention to the images..he notes details as well. Good stuff my friend!
