The second of the pair of shots - this time given a little extra high key treatment for a bit more drama.

No Photoshop postwork - RAW file processed in Aperture with a SilverFX monotone conversion applied at the time of processing.

Sensation stallion you stud!!

The whites on the beast are spot on but seem washed out and kinda cloudy beyond. Once again the detail is divine!!

...just saw your note "high key" so pay me no nevermind.

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??

One word: Amazing.
I love the contrast...very strong. I try to find something constructive about the photos I critique, but I really can't find anything wrong...you're way out of my league.

The B&W works really well. I wish I was there to examine that old hayburner up close.

I love the B&W effect...works really nice with this piece. The statue takes on a deeper focus. Nice angle too :)

I love your post-photo choices...you took nothing away from the original artist in the drama department...with your angle of shot. I wonder what a step backwards would do in the sense of lessening the impact of this shot. I kind of wish there was a full right foreleg. But that's just nit-picking. This is a wonderful photo!
