Bit of a departure for me style wise but caught this one just by chance yesterday when I was out with friends on an island off the eastern coast of Mauritius. Despite the fact that you would expect a tropical shot to be in colour, I felt the soft mono effect added more gravitas and put the focus back on the people and less on the scenery. Thanks for looking.

What a soft moment to capture on a photo. I love things like this. The feeling comes thru so strong. The b&w is a perfect thing to have used. The focus bring the father and his child to the forefront bigtime. Totally lovely. Verena
