Stéphano Honoré, better known as Menwar, playing a set at the famous Kenzi Bar in Flic en Flac. He was one of the pioneers of modern séga music, and is incredibly popular in Mauritius as well as touring and performing in Canada and Europe. Here he is playing a dzendzé ya shitsuva, a type of primitive lute/guitar hybrid originating from the Comoros islands. Very few African musicians use this instrument anymore so its good to see ancient methods being brought back into modern music.
