No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

Nah, the foregrounds fine. You could have maybe had less of it, though. I love the texture of the lake. Very cool. Good capture.

i agree with the above. the bird catching the fish is what it's all about.......not the bottom. i think the bird is great and how neat to catch such a cool fish.

I see the size of that catfish and just cringe thinking about it going down head first. Nice job, Mike.

Most of your shots are moving subjects and you are shooting too low shutter speeds. You need to step the shutter up to around 1/400 to compensate, especially if you are zooming at all. Try the fast shutter and freeze these babies...you have the birds now you have to just freeze em.

Hi...I think this is a very good photo. Since you asked about the foreground, I would say there is evidence of cloning. It looks to me like you chose an area near the edge of your photo as your target area because there are hard edges where you cloned - at least that's how it appears to me, but I'm not claiming to be a Photoshop expert. Overall a nice picture though. Good timing (well for you anyway...not for the fish).
