i got this on my drive into the preserve. first time i saw it this year. i have a dramatic pic of him flying away but my wife says it is not as hot as i think. i didn't even get a great shot as it is.
their coloring is tough this time of year- they camoflage so well;(
good for them-bad for us!
but he at least sat still long enough for you to get what you got!
i would play with it in photoshop!!

Patience and editing will do wonders for this shot.As said don't beat yourself down,I've done worse.Thanks for sharing this photog with us...................Jim
Hard to catch these, you should talk to my wife about the time I tried to photo a crane, I dare not show her the photo I got, it would start the laughter up all over again. You can sharpen it up a little but the color and light are fine.
