i think this one is in the middle of a molt. supposed to have yellow head, but body should be reddish. pretty small for a water bird. only about 10" long.

Unfortunately this photos is very very blurry, so its hard to make out this little glebe.Not sure why this would come out so blurry. It would be fun to see him, can you take another pic of him maybe? Verena

I agree.. its too blurry..must have been too far away for the camara to handle a clear shot.. good idea though.. Brian
