taken at Ridley Creek State Park today. does anyone know what kind of bird this is?? gnatcatcher??

might be a female jay - see how the feathers stick up on the back of the head - eating on a nest of bag worms - im just guessing

This looks like it might be a Tufted Titmouse with its crest folded down.

Thought it might be a Scrub Jay, but after looking at more photos of them, maybe not. It's clearly not a regular Blue Jay, though. I suppose it could be a Titmouse, although yours is quite a blue. cheers, Quiet
