I think you got close enough! Looks like you were laying in the grass with this guy. This is a beauty of a shot and the horse looks healthy and happy. Definitely a keeper! Thanks!

Horses are such handsome animals (no pun intended). This is interesting how you've got some thistle in the foreground and then the horse, sharply in focus. Almost like a layer. It really gives it some depth.
