Nice shot. I like how you were able to capture him with a seed in his beak. Colours and dof are good but it does seem to have background noise.

Wow...I know how quick these fellas are! I have taken loads of pictures of the empty bird feeder or just a blur of wings. You might try a couple things with this one...see if they work. Put it into a photo editing utility (I use Paint Shop Pro) and try the "sharpen" feature. And then I'd crop off most of the left side, frame the remainder and use something unobtrusive but matching the blue-grey of the wings and feeder as "fill" on the blurry-black you cropped out. That might lighten and tighten the entire thing. If you decide to try it, let me know how it works!

Those little guys are fast! My hat's off to you for this one. I think Sharon's advice is excellent... can't add to it.
