this photo was taken using a Sigma 70mm f2.8 macro lens. distance from camera to subject was approx. 5 ft. i am very happy with this little lens.

How were you able to go so close to the bird? nice view of the bird,the photo is lovely.

This is an AMAZING close up shot of this really cute chickadee. They sure are a friendly bird & the ones on my feeder are easy to approach. Love the colours and detail your lens caught, but it's the person behind it that makes it the FABULOUS shot that it is.
