I photographed this little gem on the side of the road leading to Paradise Inn at Mt. Rainier. I would like to dedicate this to my lovely wife; it has always been one of her favorite images. She had a very delicate back surgery today, and all went well.

A beautiful photo & a beautiful dedication Michael. I am so glad to hear all went well with your wife's surgery. I don't know that I have ever seen a Tiger Lily look like that. It reminds me of the fuschia flower. Good color, good detail. In my fav's on my HD & Thank You.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery to your wife. It's a lovely flower. I almost posted the same variety of lily for my last shot. Glad now I didn't. Yours is quite elegant and refined to my very brash and "in your face" quality flower shot.

This is a beautiful image. I don't know how you do it, but you often manage to make things appear vivid and soft at the same time. Your wife is very lucky to have you it seems, you can bring her beautiful flowers even if she can't get out to see them! I hope she is well soon!
