This image shows the various colors that can be achieved with Mother Nature’s magic palette come the right time of year. Here at the headwaters of the Mc Kenzie River in Oregon, the colors can, if the weather conditions are just right, rival the colors of spring flowers. The leaves in the image, both red and yellow, are Vine Maple. The other colored leaves I’m not sure of.

Beautiful fall colors, Michael. We should be seeing some up here in Utah soon now. It snowed day before yesterday down to about 6000 feet. That crisping will turn the leaves. Hoping today to go up the canyon to have a look-see. Great photo. Have a great day!
