These pelicans seem to be taking their cue from the little Sea Gull up front. This image was taken on the Columbia River just across from a Nuclear Reactor on the Hanford Site, which was a Plutonium producing area used during the Cold War. The site is in the process of being de-commissioned.

Great shot, Michael. The subtlety of tones and colors in this really show the advantage of shooting film.

This is a really good picture. I find it rather humorous which is a big plus. And the composition of this is very good, I love the shot and angle of this. You did good.

Beautiful. I love it. The birds are well posed and the out of focus backgroud looks like it was put there to highlight the birds. Lovely image.

I know exactly where this is. I go sturgeon fishing there whenever im in WA (Wife is from Othello). I've pulled up more than a half dozen 8 foot sturgeons out of that river. The scenery is great there. I have some intersting shots of the mule deer and the beautiful sunset.
Its a nice oasis in the dessert.

Great Pic.

I really like what you've done with the sharp focus in the fore ground with a blurred background. Very nice clarity on the birds.
