Beautiful shot... love the colours of the sky looks like someone has taken a paint brush to it, and the thin gold edging really sets it off... very nice Michael
sailors delight....red sky in the morning, sailor's take warning! I grew up with this saying. My Dad taught it to me. I think it was a phrase the sailors used to determine weather at sea. Another great shot of the red & golden sky. Looks good! Thanks :))
The plants serve well as an anchor and those darkening clouds and the lighting give this image a great evocative feel. Very moody. I really like this one. The framing too is interesting.

I like the yellow/brown color cast (even tho its a bit present at the bottom where it should be "black" on my brighter monitor). Gives it an autums night feel. My favorite season without a doubt. Well done.
Beautiful Shot Michael! And yes, this is a very true saying, it has it's roots deep into history! Jesus said this nearly 2000 years ago! "He answered and said to them, When it is evening, you say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowering. O you hypocrites, you can discern the face of the sky; but can you not discern the signs of the times?" -- Matthew 16:2-3 Great shot michael thank you for posting it! :) 10/10 and into fav's :)
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
"What other reason could there be to get up in the morning except to set ourselves free."
