This crocus was the very first one I spied this last spring. With winter fast approaching I await this marvelous messenger of spring to greet me once again.

This is unbelievably beautiful! Not only is it a gorgeous flower, it showcases my favorite colors :) I love the composition and the detail is stunning...it looks as if I could reach out and touch it! Definitely one for my favorites. Thank you Michael!

Wonderful capture of a pretty flower. Love the nice, deep purple in the flower's petals. Well done.

Thumbs up. You're a machine. What scares off the wildlife most often ... the shutter or your hydraulic appendages? Can I have your old operating system when you upgrade?

Excellent capture! (Hope you don't mind if I flip it for my desktop, those ratty icons would hide the flower.)

Every mammel on the planet develops a natural balance or a certain equalibrium with the world around them but we humans do not, we move to an area and we multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed and the only way we can survive is to spread to another area. There is only one other organism on this planet that follows the same pattern, a virus. Human beings in the intrest of the planet are a desiese a cancer of this eath. (Kinda makes you proud dosen't it)
