Thought I would wait awhile before putting up my dragonfly image as everyone else’s were so much better. Anyway, this little guy was in my sisters' backyard late this summer.

Ah ha there it is...I have been waiting some time (well since "Red Baron") for you to post this one. Assuming this is the dragonfly you mentioned back then? Oh, now I see your comment above hehe. This is a great shot Mike. Nice details in the legs and the color matching with it's perch. Thanks for posting...it will join the ranks with its buddies here:-)

hard to get the depth of field right when you're focusing so close, i mean the background is beautiful, but unfortunately the wings arent perfectly in focus like the body, oh well tough comprimise, still beautiful detail
