It's cold outside today, so I started looking for some images of spring and ran across this image. It was taken just before the peas ripened around Walla Walla Washington in the foothills of the Blue Mountains.
For a minute there Mike I thought Spring was outside your door. Glad you saved this for now, can't wait for Spring too arrive! High marks and great photography. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Amazing picture! I like these large open spaces with cloud shadows and sunlight effects on the grownd. The composition is very nice! Well done, Michael!
Peas? Bah! Peas should be outlawed. What insidious miscreants peas are. Just look at those hills ... all ... p- puh puh .. pea colored. Run out there and stomp 'em all, ya hear me, git 'em, stomp 'em. Pleas! Blech!
(pretty light on the farm house tho' .. thumbs up ... But it's good you didn't put Peas in the name)

WOw this is very good ma friend. I really love the holyness look of the house. And the greens and colors are very nice. The Rolling hills are really nice.
amazing picture. I like how you can see the clouds casting thier shadows on the ground. I'm deffinately looking forward to the color green coming back next spring.
Ya know, normally I don't like it when images are grainy, but with this one...it adds to the image for reasons I'm still not sure of. All I know is that I like it. Good work.
Very....Green....I like green, so top marks from me. Do you get up early every morning? Or is it just when the mood takes you? A lot of your shots have a great use of early morning light and shadows.
I am speechless at this awe inspiring photo Michael!! I have been to these blue mountains..and that area is absolute magic!! But your eye and your camera captured the total colour and splendour of this! SHaking head with amazement!!
Not Enough votes what?**** You have got my 10. I really enjoy the richnes of this image, DOF excellent. The softness on the image, and that house. it all falls into place. very well done, this is one of the reasons you are AOTW. good job.
Hello Mike...I like this very much....Composition is all about how you arrange the elements of the scene in front of you. While you can't move the landscape, you will still have plenty of opportunities for perfecting your composition and this you have done successfully....Well done....All the best...Mick..
