This is a photograph near the headwaters of the American River in the Washington Cascade Mt Range. It was such a peaceful place with just the sounds of the birds and the murmuring of the water. It is a very happy place.

I like the way you captured this Michael. A secluded nature scene. The slow shutter adds a painted serene effect. Nice work and photography!

I love the warmth of the brown tones and the quietness the water portrays....I wonder what makes the water looks so white and "cloudy"...the speed of the photo you take I guess. Washington is as pretty as Oregon...there are so many great spots like this to love...I enjoy your photos so very much!
