The symbol of the Great American West. For those of you out there that don't know about the American Buffalos: In the early 1800s the herds of Buffalo could approach 1/2 million animals. When the white man moved west uncontrolled hunting destroyed most of the majestic animals. It was the beginning of the end for the wildness of the western US.

Well done! I like how the line of sight skims the white, the soft focus on everything but the animal, the greater margin on the right where he's headed ... and his eye looking at me!

To cheer some up a little, the American Buffalo is making a BIG comeback thanks to stricter hunting laws, and wildlife protection.
Now if only the Buffalo Bills ....

I lived close by a couple fenced herds they had around i70 in Colorado .. I never managed to come a way with a shot like this
