Gosh, I have never seen a yellow headed one. In the South we had ones with red heads..but never yellow..that is so special you were able to get a pic of him...He sits there so proud and tall...very sweet!!

what a gorgeous bird! i love its colours, especially the bright yellow agains the black of its feathers.. it sure looks a bit dreamy, looking far away.. hoping to find his true love :) i hope they'll have many little birdies! :) this one really looks like a real seducer.. a true bird casanova :))
great colour contrasts on this one and fabulous background which focuses the little animal. it's also a macro shot, the bird looks so small compared to those..plants (whatever you call them :)
