Here on the Oregon Coast can be seen some very fine sunsets. I would like to dedicate this posting to a lady from Oregon and a very active participant here on Caedes (Verena). I have it on very good intel that she really likes the coast and is a little under the weather. Which I'm sure is causing her be staying at home. Let's all get together and wish her a speedy recovery!!!

What a most lovely way to get up to this day(Sunday)....to see this beautiful posting of yours...and feel the beauty of the ocean! And then to have such a special dedication..Well, you made me dream of the sea again....so today my husband is going to drive me there for a bit. I wont need to do anything but sit and view the scenery and breathe in the wonderful salty air!! Thank you my friend for this awe inspiring posting! You did wonderful with these colours and I love the framing. I know one day I will learn how to do it, and will be able to shoot vertifcal photos once more...by the way this is my desktop...so I can breathe in this gorgeous water....thank yoiu so much Michael!

I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings: And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill. That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes. We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not. Yet so the universe was wrought . Thought is another name for fate. Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.

True, Michael. You did great work here. I guess you manipulated the colors. If not you picked one helluva sunset which which to collaborate. I like the angle of the surf to the frame, and the backdrop of the headland. Very nice.

Really lovely photo, Michael. The colors are very beautiful in this shot. Another example of why I need to get out to the west coast.

Never knowing. Shocking but we're nothing, we're just moments. We're clever but we're clueless, we're just human. Amusing but confusing. We're trying, but where is this all leading? Never Know. -Jack Johnson

This is a first rate photo. It has a soft gentle look that is very pleasing and I like the water edge leading to the gap in the rocks.

There are three colours, Ten digits and seven notes, its what we do with them that’s important. Ruth Ross

Beautiful photo Michael & I love the asymmetrical framing. Unusual. Your image has a soft dreamy feel to it that is very appealing, it's really very lovely. I gave it 10 / 10, put in my favs, & put it on my hard drive to come back to again & again, whenever I want to recapture that romantic dreamy feeling I get from this image. Now, you & I both know that you cropped out the footprints & the picture of the embracing couple & the bottle of the wine dropped on the sand, huh ??
