This is my first ALL digital image that I have put up on Caedes. I purchased a Canon Rebel XT and have been playing with it. Just about everything has quit blooming around here because of the heat and the fall colors haven't started yet. I found this little Tea Rose in a neighbor’s back yard and she was gracious enough to let me photograph it. So here goes: Please don't be too harsh. Remember I'm just starting to do digital.

Hi there Michael!I thought all this time you'e been doing things by digital. Roses are sure a beautiful thing to start with . I cant put my Nikon Digital down...I cruise the neighborhood so much they probaby think I am a undercover police!! hehe..Besides the fact...us be too harsh? with someone who can take photos like you??!! nawwwww ..You do, by far, the best photography on this caedes site! So there! lol....Nice shot my friend!

It has always been your composition and color that impress me so much. I'd say you have mastered the camera already. Beautiful shot Mike...I am hoping for some rain. Maybe we need to synchronous dance lol:-)

Somehow I don't think you're going to have any problems. It is, after all, the eye that counts. Careful, you will soon be addicted to the instant gratification of that Cannon, and you still have controls.

Lovely. The composition and the water drops are fabulous. very appealing damp atmosphere too. have fun with the new camera; i have the 300D. what lenses do you have/getting?

I fail to understand why someone with your obvious artistic talent would ask others to not be " harsh " in our assements of an offering that is so wonderful. I'm really very sorry, but I can only give it a 10, put in my favs & throw it right on my desktop. What's a girl to do ?? Other than thank you, of course, for making it available to us. Keep up the good work !!
