Have no idea why I used that title. Maybe it just sounds interesting. I was looking through an old box of slides that was marked "what is it" when I ran across this image. Several years ago the local Photographical Society had a Competition of which the theme was "What is it". I didn't enter this particular image, as there was nothing on the slide that tells me what it is of. I have absolutely no idea what it is! I must be having a "senior moment." However, I do like the color combinations and the energy that the flowing lines give to it. Let’s have a mini contest and see who can give the best description as to what it is of.

I'm seeing satin or cellophane over the foil, I don't see any hard creases like foil would make. Something about it makes me think of the lining of wedding dresses. If it hadn't been you I might have thought it was a computer generation from the thumbnail.

Looks interesting... My best guess would be a close-up of ice in a shallow puddle, you know with rings of "air-pockets" (or what you call it) under it. I have some trouble orienting myself and telling what's up and down but that's not a problem I guess. ^_^

Tin foil is my guess.... it doesn't have to have hard creases, like if you JUST took it out of the box, it's really smooth. There ya go :) Cool image
