Last winter the fog, ice, water and bald skies make a very cold brooding image.

This image is very thought provoking. I can see a face in the bushes when I rotate my head :)) oh come on now dont keep doing that.

The glowing dreamy like effect is eye pleasing too. Nice work with composition by the way.

Haunting & mesmerizing, I could get lost in this image. Is there a dark Victorian mansion just beyond those trees, complete with a brooding owner & a young impressionable governess ? I believe so, it's just the sort of ambiance this image exudes, it has a Hitchcock feel to it, well, that or Dark Shadows ! It's really beautiful BTW.

This is a great picture, 'cuz it captures well the cold hard feeling of the moment. I'm also attracted to form and especially symmetry. However, the optimist in me wonders what this would look like on a warm spring day .....Well done! - Dave

Michael this is really lovely. We have another snowstorm going on here right now. The summery images are really enjoyable today. What program was used to filter for the dreamy effect?

Wow, this looks like a watercolor painting Michael. I love the starkness of the image, yet there is much to see. Quite and oxymoron, right? The island, the fog, the mist, the trees and the sky & water becoming one make for a fascinating capture. Thanks :~)

Lovely scene. The aura in this image is almost haunting, the soft fog and the glass like water with the cold air, fabulous capture on this one. Great work.

This is superb.

There ... 'nuff said.

(p.s. This is superb. I really like the asymmetry and symmetry elements present. The reflection of the island in the water and ice, the offset focal point ... it is a beautiful image.)
