This image is dedicated to Mimi, who loves lilacs. Beautiful flowers for a very special lady. I hope you all like it and especially you Mimi. This image was taken about a week after "Lilac Beauty".
Oh my Michael....I clicked my screen and this is what I see !!!!! Wow oh wow........To me there is nothing more gorgeous that the sight and smell of lilacs. I don't think I have ever seen these kind that have the white edging on each flower. I hope they have the traditional lilac scent! :) I love how the buds are still tightly formed at the top of each blossom. What a great contrast! The water droplets add a magical touch to this already magical picture. I might frame this one and hang it in my bedroom so I will have sweet dreams all the time!!
The framing brings out the lovely color of the flowers and adds that perfect touch of class to the entire image.
Thank you also Michal for the dedication. You have no idea how touched I am....for someone to remember my favorite flower and post an image just for me....well, it brings tears of joy to my eyes to know you & DiAnn & I am very proud to call both of you my friends. Now I can add Baby Girl.
You are so sweet Michael, thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart :~)
You have lilacs! How great! I believe I will have to wait another week till they blossom in Poland. Amazing capture - well focused and well-composed. A nice flower for a nice lady!
When I was a little girl living in Germany, there are two flowers I will never forget, one is the Lilac and the other one is the Lily of the Valley.. Both are extremely fragrant..both have a delicate scent...nothing can compared to them as far as I am concerned. I dearly love them both, and fortunately they grow easily and abundantly in ORegon, and the home I just moved into has got 4 Lilac bushes! Talk about wonderful! One is a deep purple and three are white..So I appreciate very much your photo of this beautifullly sweet flower. It's a beauty that is very easy to capture on a picture and cherished for a long time.I have never seen a purple with white edgings..it must be rather unique.. Thank you for posting yours..Verena
Wonderful 3D effect - love how they're almost popping out of the frame. Their purple/lavender color is striking. Also like the frame with the yellow complimenting the other shades. A nice tribute to mimi - 10s for sure!
Your title really fooled me. I was expecting to see something else. But the flowers presented here are unique in arrangement and color. I like the unopened ones as well as the open. The water droplets add grace and refreshment to the composition. Well done, Michael
