Very nice. Boy am I ever familiar with that country! I lived near there for seven years and did a tremendous amount of Steelhead and Salmon fishing up and down the Peninsula. Great place for photo opps.
Man you make that place look so inviting Michael. All I got when I shot images in there was a lot of blur.......we didn't have the tripod and I don't shoot well in low light nor does my camera!! This is awesome. The green reminds me of what my personal vision of Ireland is like!
Very well done once again my friend. Thank you for sharing this with us :~)
One of the things I just love about the Pacific Northwest is the way the beautiful ferns grow on anything at all...I love the softness of this photo and I can almost feel the wonderful dampness of that forest....It's a gorgeous area..and you captured it well...V
Exquisite capture of a fantastic forest. The various greens, from dark to light are so bright & vibrant. I like the moss on the tree trunks - thanks to all that rain you get! Your frame is simple and just right for this. I'm sure this will get many 10s!!
Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Moss, and ferns, and lichens oh my ...lol Great image Michael. nice presentation and wonderfully clear.Nice of you to throw some brown and blue into all that gorgeous greenery. My brother lives in Olympia. when I'm up there I could get lost in that beautiful place..Thanks for sharing ...Bill
The word that comes to mind is "drenched". That's got to be one of the dampest places you've taken us in a while. While you were standing there did it start to grow over your shoes? So many moss and ferns in one place combined with the old growth and angles make for a lovely photo.
This is a POWERFUL image. The greens are marvelous and serve to emphasize the density you captured with such clarity. Full screen and I'm drawn into the image. You leave me no choice. This one goes DEEP into my favorites.
I love the depth created by the different shades of green
in the mosses, ferns and other foliage. A potentially
flat shot in a very dense forest is a three dimensional
beauty.
