Don, in Holland we've the saying: "De ochtendstond geeft goud in de mond." When I translate it literally into English it reads: "The dawn gives gold in mouth." Not that understandably isn't it, so a good alternative is: "The early bird catches the worm. It's valid for the done effort to provide us with this wonderful sunrise image.

This is a terrific capture with the dark trees in the foreground and the fog/mist in the valley. The sky is amazing! I think it might work better if you cropped some of the sky at the top...it would give more attention to the beautiful mountains. You could try it and see. Anyway, this is a gorgeous image!
