I panned this shot at a shutter speed of 1/80 sec. to create the motion blur. The boat was racing in competition at 100+ mph.

Awesome image Neil, the speed clearly shows, and yes photographing like this is a challenge, you just need a little luck when following the subject with your camera.

Luck and my trusty Nikon! It's pretty good at reaching out and grabbing the subject and staying locked. Then all I have to do is keep it in the frame and see how low I can go on shutter speed. Thanks again, Hans.
