Autofocus can concentrate on the wrong parts of an image. In this case it is right at the front of the flower leaving most of the petals soft. A little more contrast would help pull out the shadows and highlights a little and add to the overall effect, as would darkening the background a little to separate the flower. The composition is good, with a nice close crop concentrating the viewer on the subject.
