Hi Philip
I looks nice...but i guess when you froze the water with high speed it would have been better.
It a question of expiriment i think...just try it out.
But the place is great
Damn! That's good! I love the color you got in the high falls, and the plasticine-look of the level pools. The green looks very good contrasted with the yellow leaves - almost like you put them there. You didn't, did you? :-) I LOVE the slowed water, as it makes the sharp, clear rocks jump out. Finally your composition here is excellent with the stream forming a diagonal though the image. Great work.
I'm normally not one for slowed water images but this one jumped out at me from the thumbnail and works for all the reasons Regmar so completely stated above. Colors are terrific.
I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.
Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
I think that this exposure is longer than 15 seconds. My guess is that it's more like 45 seconds from the amount of blur. This is a beautiful image with rich color. Well done.
