Another total winnier Phil. This is what I consider true art...it's got everything. I love the drama and the mood and the composition. This is a 10 for sure and thanks for sharing it with us.
An absolutely gorgeous photo...it IS a piece of art...the drama in the sky...the softness of the earths colours below it...and the patterns...beautiful contrastt and they come together pefectly...just a most lovely photo....right into my favs. it goes
Oh my! Epic! As much as the agrarian setting itself is wonderful, the clouds really make this shot. This is fighting for a spot on the desktop now. I might have to turn the "desktop picture cycle" on. <:
Stunning. Very well done. It reminds me of the Willamette Valley in Oregon, which is where I live. Beautiful lighting and all the right proportions. Great job.
"Pity? It was pity that stayed Bilbo's hand. Many that live deserve death. Some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them, Frodo? Do not be too eager to deal out death in judgment. Even the very wise cannot see all ends. My heart tells me that Gollum has some part to play yet, for good or ill before this is over. The pity of Bilbo may rule the fate of many."- "I wish the Ring had never come to me.
I wish none of this had happened..." "So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."-Gandalf
Wow. I'm coming in a little late here. But I just had to comment on the perfectness of this image.
It reminds me very much of the Palouse area of Washington and Idaho States.
Everything here is just perfect, I don't think I can add any more than what has already been said.
10 by me, in my Favorites Gallery and on my laptop for a week.
Thanks.
Hello Philip.....This is a fabulous shot and you get bonus points from me...The colours are fantastic and work well against the sky.....Well done...All the best....Mick.
I love the mood of this photo. The subject is something we better take lots of pictures of because it is slowly disappearing. As the others have said, this photo cannot be faulted for anything. Especially noteworthy is the lighting-a dreamy glow which gives it a peace and tranquility. Grrrrrrrreat work.
This is my favorite kind of photography. Not really a landscape but more of a skyscape. The light and shadow of the cloud formation is absolutely breathtaking.
I've lived in Kansas my entire life and my Grandfather and father were both farmers and that picture is just beautiful! It makes me want to live in the country! 10/10 in my book!!
Farmland-beautifully simple. It reminds me of the *bread belt of America* I thought this was a painting when I first viewed it. The rolling fields are very pleasing. Wonderful clarity and the golds, yellows and greens are natures purest forms. The sky is outstanding! Those clouds beautifully formed-this whole image is magnificent!! Thanks Phil, for opening my eyes wide :))
