I took this picture last weekend when I saw this small bird in my tree... It was beautiful and quiet... and I didn't resist!! I hope than you like it!

The cardinal is a good contrast to the the white snow and green fir tree.

Helene - At first I thought this Cardnal was sleeping. So I looked at a larger version, I noticed all the crisp detail, I didnt have to squint my eyes for the contrast. And was the Cardnal sleeping ? Hmmmm I suggest everybody look for themselves. :) Great Shot. Do More Please.

How I love the cardinals sitting in the pine trees in the snow. They are indeed 'pcisure perfect'. I like the way the cardinals head is turned. It show the markings on his head quite well. Good soft focus and I also like the off-center placement of the subject matter. Well done & thank you :)
