Great capture, Pierre. I love the contrast between the excited look of glee on the little girl's face and that totally blase pigeon. Thanks for sharing this. :)
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
N1ce Pierre. You couldn't set a shot like this up. right place right time and an eye for a good shot. Well done. Instead of the eagle for your Avatar maybe you should have one of these pigeons. lol. cheers Al.
Very interesting. Agree with Mary. There's quite a contrast between the excited look of that cute girl and the poker-faced pigeon...as if he's saying ."na.. na.. you never catch me". :)) Nice capture, Pierre.
The subject matter in this image is priceless Pierre! It is a study in contrast. The little girl believes she can catch it & the pigeon knows she can't! Well done. Thank you :)
"A piece of toast with butter always lands butter side down, and a cat always lands on its feet. What happens if a piece of toast is tied butter side down to the back of a cat? Does it perpetually hover above the ground in indecision when dropped?"
Great shot, reminded me of when my two were small,, they were serial pigeon scarers lol. Not a single pigeon was safe. I bet he beat her though. Such a brilliant capture.
Did she catch it? who knows, it doesnt matter. This moment was caught in time showing the exuberance of a child who believed she could. A most delightful picture.
