The highlighted areas a bit burnt out but it's not a major problem I guess. :) The composition is really good and gives the feeling like Jacqueline said that you are in a secret place away from the rest of the world. I almost feel like time has stopped in this place rendering it untouched by modern times woes.

This is a great shot..but I'd like to make a couple suggestions for the "next" one...Instead of your "splitting" the dark and light areas right in the middle..maybe it would have been a bit more dramatic to have it with the dark area, which is really the more dramatic part...more past the center "line" and then 'less' of the light area. I think the light takes the drama away a bit..or another idea would be to lighten the dark steps just a bit on your paint program. But the photo itself is dramatic, soft, romantic...its beautifully done!! Bravo indeed!!
