Excellent shot. But I must say that the art it self is rather disturbing.

I love this piece!! I don't know if the sculpture itself would be so affecting anywhere else, but in the dreary surroundings and great lighting your photo of it sure speaks to me. Got to go into my favs and a 10

The image quality is very good but I agree that it's a bit disturbing with all that is going on in the news from the Middle East.

I think the goal of the artist was precisely to disturb us... Thanks for the feedback :-)

An excellent image! I love the figure, and you have embued so much more meaning to it, by the angle/lighting you chose. Very well done.

There are many paths to the top of the mountain, but the view is always the same. Chinese Proverb........I think you'll really like Chinese Lion. roar.

woooaaah . . . that completely deserves a ten. Maybe it's not the best when it comes to just looking at it (not 'eye candy' so to speak), but I like the the basic image anyway and I REALLY like the meaning I get out of it . . . light shining down on a decimated/mummified-looking humanoid figure . . . excellent. I am perpetually totally intrigued by the disturbing. Absolutely exquisitely conceived and excecuted. All my support and awe behind you on this one.

. . . and that hollow eye . . .
