You should stick with this creepy feel Pierre it works for you. Great angle and the sky is brought out even more by the strange silhouettes. Lovely lovely lovely.
Excuse me, I need to change...I've just shat myself. lol ok seriously though, it's awesome. Very scary, but still, very awesome. It's good to get scared sometimes ;o)
There's an emptiness inside her and she'd do anything to fill it in. Though it's red blood bleeding from her now, it's more like cold blue ice in her heart. She feels like kicking out all the windows and setting fire to this life. She could change everything about her using colors bold and bright, but all the colors mix together...to grey. ~*DaveMatthewsBand*~
Wow! I really like the mood in this photo. For me it's touching the surreal end of the spectre. Like trisbert said monochrome works very well here. I feel it accentuates the almost unreal feeling of it.
I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.
Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
I know it's disturbing and provoking..., but that's art definition, no?
Ron: no. I don't made it. This is a special walking with works of art all around.
Thanks guys to give your feelings on this one :-)
Reminds me of the movie Wicker Man.I love the rolling clouds and the branchs to the right.I'll bet the birds stay awy from that part of the field. Thanks for bringing this unusual image to the site Pierre.I needed to be shaken from my everyday perspective and content.

Ahh, Pierre, you've landed another one in my favorites. Like "Homage to a Sculptor" I think the piece of art itself might not have such an impact alone. It's your bleak treatment of it and the darkness you've brought out that make it an artwork for me. 10, favorites and a desktop that will get pulled up repeatedly.
I think this is one of your top shots Pierre. Very spooky! It's got a kind of Frankenstein quality to it, if you know what I mean. Probably to do with the fact it's in B&W.
I know a South African land-artist who does similar things. Strijdom van der Merwe. His works are only preserved through photography. One might find something in the internet on him. Thanks for sharing the photo. t
I checked out the webpage of Strijdom van der Merwe. There is a similar picture under his commissions: "La fete de Mai", 'Migration' Faulx-les-Tombes, Belgium. They might be the same wicker men? www.strijdom.co.za
