This is well nothing can discribe the beauty of this orchid. Great job on the lighting and the detail. Makes a wonderful desktop. Yes please take anouther shot when the other buds are open if you can.
So many varieties of this flower! Never seen this one before and you've given us a gorgeous view. Almost as if you carried the sunshine around in your pocket to guarantee the best lighting.
Wow Pierre! such beauty in this flower..imagine a flower looking like a leopard skin! How beautifuly!! ITs just fantastic you were able to capture this on a photo...I love it! and i like the dark background...it shows up the orchid so well....thank yu so much my friend And I am so happy you were able to get to the orchid show!! I wish you well!!
I believe the second half of one's life is meant to be better than the first half. The first half is finding out how you do it. And the second half is enjoying it....
These are a fun bunch. Orchids never cease to amaze me with their vast array of colors and styles. I also admit to being tickled everytime you post a floral. ;) I like what the light did for the main blooms and I like how you balanced the composition out with the buds though they are quite bright on the top.
Such detail and sharpness. You really are a wizard with these orchids. I like the use of "negative space". It really makes the subject snap to the viewers attention and leaves no doubt as to the subject. They can't get any better than this. 10 by me.
Hi Pierre, my, this image is positivly stunning in it's beauty! Your skills as a photographer have made it one of the very best! I love the colors, clarity and of course the enhancement of the dark background! Do you grow orchids Pierre? Nice work!! Sincerely, Marilyn
what a beautiful shot of the orchid itself - faultless
and beautifully composed l ines
I like the hint of green behind it on the left and Im wondering if it would contextualise slightly differently if there was a substantial bit of green in the background ie its not merely a flower head floating in space
