Hello again Pierre...you know I was in Amsterdam only once, it was just before I docked at LeHavre France on the way to coming to America...and seeing this photo sure touches me. I love the tops of those buildings...such a real awe inspiring thing they are...and oh those arches under the bridge!!! That's one of the things I had loved on the River Thames in England...too. Such a charming photo here...seeing the people around makes it very very real also. You are such an outstanding photographer my friend. I must have been there about a 100 times, but I must have gotten used to Amsterdam for I did not realise how beautiful the place can be. You truely made this an outstanding shot Pierre! The monochrome empasizes the old "heren huizen" very good!
