Yes, Ewa, but Amsterdam in winter is really grey, except the "red" area ;-)
Thanks!

Hello again Pierre...you know I was in Amsterdam only once, it was just before I docked at LeHavre France on the way to coming to America...and seeing this photo sure touches me. I love the tops of those buildings...such a real awe inspiring thing they are...and oh those arches under the bridge!!! That's one of the things I had loved on the River Thames in England...too. Such a charming photo here...seeing the people around makes it very very real also. You are such an outstanding photographer my friend. I hope you are doing well, and that you are healing wonderfully. Well, obviously you are, since you are out taking pictures again! Many warms hugs go to you today...verena

If it weren't for the van, this photo could be a true period piece. Very interesting shot, Pierre. C'est tres bon.

Hey this looks familiar!
I must have been there about a 100 times, but I must have gotten used to Amsterdam for I did not realise how beautiful the place can be. You truely made this an outstanding shot Pierre! The monochrome empasizes the old "heren huizen" very good!
Thanks for promoting my country.
I guess I have to do a series sometime on dutch architecture again...
