Oh Pierre, this is fantastic! A different vantage point again. And now the forest looks like fine green french lace...how beautiful that is! The fog of course softly caresses everything..its very romantic feeling...nice work Pierre.
I think I like this angle more than its elevated counterpart. It looks a little grainy, but the angle of the trees (with the sunlight bouncing its way between them) is nice.
whilst I prefer the light and colour of the companion shot to this - the view point and perspective on this one offer a much more interesting picture - a fine pair of images indeed.
It’s been a fascinating exercise to scroll between elevated view and this one for several minutes. The difference the viewpoint has made is quite remarkable. I wouldn’t call either of them better than the other, they are both beautiful and interesting. This one has a little more impact due to the dark areas top and bottom.
I wonder what settings of the camera did you use to capture with such a precision this delicate mist all around the forest? So mood inpiring and mysterious!
Oh gosh Pierre you do find great places and wonderful angles. I LOVE this image. It takes there with the little people hiding under toad stools. It would be just a bit even better if you corrected the lense distortion at the upper right in Photoshop.
"What other reason could there be to get up in the morning except to set ourselves free."
If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.
No Sig, Just, I want to say "Thank You" to all of the talented photographers for giving me the most beautiful desktops and screensavers I could ever imagine. The artistry here is breathtaking.
