Very interesting image Pierre! Love the sharpness and rich color, against the blurred background. Excellent composition!

Art is the perception of the creator. Meaning is the perception of the viewer. acceptance is the perception of society.

You have a way with shooting people...with a camera that is. You seemed to have caught the girls expression just at the right time. Nice work.

That’s a wonderful human interest shot Pierre. I had to smile when I saw the paint smudge on her shoulder :-)

Great image! I wonder how long it will take her to get all of that face paint off ? I like how her paint sort of mimics the pattern on the object behind her. Great shot.

This is a striking image. Capturing this charming young lady in blue & white, with the dark shadowy building behind was brilliant. Great composition bringing out those vivid colors.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

Handmaiden to history, chronicler of the mind and the heart, writing is humankind’s most far-reaching creation, it’s forms and designs endless. During the U.S. civil war, for example, a union soldier’s letter home was written in two directions to save scarce paper. In India an artisan made such limitation a virtue by inking an article’s bylines on grains of rice. And the words you are now reading were written on a computer equipped with some 800 styles of type. Yet the purpose of writing remains unchanged: to convey meaning, whether playful, mundane, or profound.
