The water was very high with the last rains. I was happy with a little sunray... Thanks Chris :-)

The water works wonders for this image, very beautifull, the angled treeline adds to a great shot and composition. Although it is no Swiss posting from you, i do like this one a lot to.

Those houses look very old. I like the lighting and subtle, natural colors on what appears to be an overcast day. I am wondering about the water flow. I guess that is a means to keep the water away from the houses. A very interesting shot. I'm glad you posted this.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Yikes, that water shouldn’t be doing that surely? It does make an interesting photo though :-)

In these old villages, the rivers were managed in the past to give water to old mills. This is what you see on the photo, except that the water is very high.
No problem for the inhabitants...
Thanks guys for your feedback :-)

What a most tranquil and peaceful looking photo! It makes me want to take off my shoes and wade in that water, but of course, only if it's warm enough! Magnifique my friend! Verena
