I like them both, but for different reasons. This one has more things that draw my interest and paint the whole scene for me of what the countryside looks like and I like the fence.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Great composition: the angle perfectly chosen, the perspective amazing, the colors wonderful and the picture is so neat. I like the fence and the carpet of flowers. The tree is so lonely...Right into my fav. Merci Pierre.

My thoughts on this echo just about everything Cindy said...I like 'em both but for different reasons...more to feast the eyes on here and that yellow field looks great with the greens and browns and I too like the inclusion of the fence in this one.:Pat.
Due to the recent slow down of the site, my comments and thank you's have been few as it was very time-consuming...will catch up ASAP...meanwhile, a group thank you to all and keep up the great work everyone.
Lovely composition mon ami with plenty for the eye to discover.Although the lone tree is the focal point I prefer the forground with it's depth of field and 3D effect.

I am not sure whether this is mustard flower or rapeseed flower, whatever it is it makes a stunning picture. I have tried in vain to capture this colour of springtime fields, and know it is very difficult to get it just right, as you have done. This picture has a great sense of distance and the dandelions echoing the colour of the field make a really pleasing contrast and superb composition.
I prefer this one, it got more elements than the other one. All the elements on this picture fits great together. It's really beautiful. Great picture :)
Hello Pierre, well, I have to say I really like this photo best! I am one of those fence loving people! A fence adds SO much character to almost any photo! And I love the contrast between the lovely flowers in the foreground, the dried grasses, then the fence, then the bigtime field of flowers...and then to top it all off...the lovely lone tree!! This was a sweeeeeeeet treat to my eyes, my friend!! Thank you sooooo much! Verena
