Hey there Mister Madman, wat'cha know that I don't know
Tell me some crazy stories, let me know who runs this show
Glassy-eyed and laughing, he turns and walks away
Tell me what made you that way

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Great theme AND mood...reminiscent of the old saying, "Take time to smell the roses" only in this case, stop and lay back to watch the water fountain...a nice, easy, laid-back feeling and passtime amidst the chaos of city life...well presented...Good Luck in the contest!
I much appreciate all the comments I receive about my images, but please excuse me if I don't always reply. My interest in Caedes is exceeding my time available!
I guess a lot of people don't get this, because they haven't been there. I have a photo very much like this one (though not as good) of myself and my mom when we went to Paris. This does seem to be a way of life in France. Feet up on the edge of a fountain.
You offset the fountain and the people in this shot but you did so in opposite directions, so the people are offset to the left, and the fountain is offset to the right. The result is a balance that leaves the viewer asking, "Why does this work?" Yet it does. I commend you on a good composition, and an excellent demonstration of a way of life I see from the outside with a HUGE dose of envy.
