I love your pictures of other cultures ... you remind me that my little corner of the world is just that ... a very little corner.

I really like this one, my mother-in-law does paintings like this with India ink, she would probably paint this one as it has so many neat textures and patterns.

Very well done Pierre, I like the contrast between her garb and adornments. What a weathered face too, seen many years. Nicely done my friend. +fav

This photo was taken near Tsomoriri lake, 4500 m high. Sunlight is very harmful for the skin...

Oh Pierre, this is gorgeous. What a wonderful photo. I imagine you really enjoyed taking it. I would have loved to see it in colour, due to the jewelry, it would be fun to see the colours.
I like this series very much also...nicely done my friend..V

Outstanding capture. An open and guileless character study.

The monochrome treatment makes it timeless.

Such wonderful details in the clothing and the face of this lady. B/w certainly can be used to the greatest advantage. Nicely done so here.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
