Oh Pierre, this is one of those grand photos you take when in snow country. It is still your BEST I think. You just have a way of bringing the feeling of the cold together with the textures. Look at those lovely shadows. So beautiful. Verena

cindy is right about the sparkles on the snow. they're lovely. what catches my eye in this longer shot is the contour of the long snowy mountain. you handle the white so well.

It looks like your holiday was successful Pierre! I love the way the landscape looks. The gentle undulating snow covered hills. There is an amazing sparkling quality to the snow...almost as if it is covered in diamonds. Excellent job with the white balance or whatever you did while shooting this image in full sun.

The only way to succeed a good white balance with snow landscapes is to work in RAW format, then open with a specific software (Lightroom here), then little edits with PS.
