Pierre, this is just magnificent. Imagine that not only were these handmade, but sooo long ago. I love the way the childs hand is wrapped around the beard! And the wonderful work on the pillars! I will go check out the website too. I would love to know the whole area better. It is so amazing that the construction began in in the year 1170 ! It's hard even to think like that ! Thank you so much for this wonderful photo. And am looking forward to more of your travel photos soon.. Verena

Beautiful sculptures, Pierre. They remind me of the ones I saw in NYC at a cathedral I visited there. Love how you brought out their 3D appearance. Excellent capture.
