Very nicely done to frame the flowers with the palm frond in back - it sets it off very well.

Hey Prashanth
Those flower just glow! The background really helps to set those colors off.

Wonderful capture Prashanth; subject is nicely highlighted......

i am having a suggestion here - as per me the interestingness to an image depends 40% on how we select the background [just the principle of Sree :))] - Those palm fronds are distracting the vision from main subject, even though the subject is pretty bright here - What i suggest is to get a shallow aperture in AV mode of our cam.
[For shallow depth of field and nice blurry backgrounds choose a large Aperture (the smaller the number the larger the aperture). Try taking a few shots at different apertures and see how it affects the background of your shots];

[Just my suggestion - ignore if not applicable :)]

I really like how you composed your shot here, Prashanth.

The arc of palm fronds sets up the frame well, with the respective offset placement of the Orange Trumpets' blooms.

Only caveat I have (although it might interesting to see what Sree's suggestion above would have on the impact) ... that of the somewhat harsh lighting. Most likely due to the time of your shooting.

That aside, very nicely composed ... good colour, and the colour contrasts are what really make this one pop.

And but of course, thank you for sharing this one with us. :o)

As I said on the other photo, this shade of orange and the green really work well together. The capture is beautiful, and I love the way the palm leaves arch over the subject. Gave this one a 10 in the voting booth. And faved. Perfect!

This is my favorite Prashanth...I love the way the thin red leaves are hanging as a background. And the bright orange is so very bold. Very nice work my friend. Verena
