I was shooting the Reflections and a curious mermaid came to investigate. Distracted by this new guest I asked her whats her name and told her I wanted to take a snap of her to share with you at caedes. She told Wendell had already taken her shot with his new Canon Digital Rebel XSi. When I insisted on taking her photo, she jumped back to water and vanished. Now I'm waiting for Wendell to post that shot of hers ;)

I had to chip a hole in the ice to get my pictures, and she was wearing a bulky fur coat at the time :)) Nice shot Prashanth and a good reflection of the sky.

Now Prashanth! This is most lovely 'tale'...so you got away with not showing us the magical mermaid?! And Wendell had something to do with it? That just figures. He wants all the glory doesn't he??(laughing at you both!) I love this photo, with the big "bloop"...must have sounded very exciting to you!
